Chicago Aldermen pass anti-puppy mill ordinance

In City Council today, the Companion Animal and Consumer Protection Ordinance passed 49-1. This ordinance will stop the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits bred in puppy and kitten mills, will protect consumers, and will save the City tax dollars by increasing animal adoptions and decreasing costs associated with euthanizations.

A big shout out goes to City Clerk Susana Mendoza.
