Be a Hero for Children in Need of Warmth in the 17th District

The 17th District Police Station is collecting donations for Operation Warm, an organization that provides kids in need with new winter coats. CAPS will provide students in schools throughout the 17th district with coats from donations they collect.

The average cost of a new child’s winter coat is about $20, which helps keep them warm throughout the season. If you make an online donation, Operation Warm and People’s Home Equity will be matching dollar for dollar. That means a $20 donation will be able to provide …
